Unrush founder Mareena has been very busy since her last in-house contribution to the series. Her collaboration with JakoJako on Muzan Editions stunned listeners with its bright palette and nocturnal nuance, while their contribution to the Tresor Records 30 Years Compilation solidified this collaboration as a project to watch. Both of these releases displayed the refinement of her production skills, where her dedication to modular synthesis has transpired into a palpable passion for discovering new sonic pathways. It's safe to say Mareena is no longer just an adept DJ, but also a versatile producer as well. 

Unrush itself has grown too. With over 60 mixes and 4 compilations released to date, the series has expanded to include a broad family of artists and shows no signs of slowing down. To celebrate these achievements, we are pleased to present Mareena's fourth mix for the series, where she gracefully weaves the past into the future, giving us a glimpse of what is to come.

So excited to welcome BLNDR to the series, a long-awaited delight after observing the French producer develop his magnetic and kaleidoscopic sound over the years. BLNDR's mix is glimmering and atmospheric, reflective of the patient and meticulous nature inhabiting his work as both BLNDR and his more-recent Traevor alias. Voiced in a heartfelt tone and assembled with a poet's touch, this set is a soft yet spry landing to an intense season, breathing a new air, fluttering to a new rhythm, earnest to the very end. I enjoyed this one immensely and I hope you will too. Thanks Tom!

For those drawn to ambient terrains, the name Francesco Piunti will likely already be familiar. Our first encounter with his mixes came some years ago - emerging through the well known Campfire Stories on Silent Season, then later well crafted excursions thru the likes of Oslated, Delayed, Deep Electronics, and Moon Garden Records not to forget his tireless work in hosting the Deep Breakfast Series (https://soundcloud.com/deepbreakfastseries)

In response to MB’s recent 314 mix https://soundcloud.com/deepbreakfastseries/314-m-baumann, Francesco has returned serve with a contemplative two-hour drift - tracing ambient space, dub techno, with a delicate dusting of float house. The haze of Paral·lel festival has barely lifted, but we’re rewinding to another moment worth lingering on, February in Granada, at the Moonback club. There, under the warm glow of the Extramostra banner, Mostra linked up with the Klub Collective for a night that balanced local soul with an international touch. The lineup reads like a heads-only dream: Timnah, Antonio Vázquez, Refracted, and a solid core of Klub Collective residents including Fran Acosta, Kaizen, and Utopian. The kind of night that reminded us why the first slot matters more than most people admit. It’s the architectural role: shaping the night’s flow from zero.

Utopian did just that. His set unfolds like a slow exhale, dub-laced ambient that creeps, swells, and gradually transforms into chugging, low-slung techno hypnosis. It’s a patient climb: syncopated, restrained, precise. Not a single cheap move, just deep focus and floor logic, the kind that sets the table without stealing the meal. But make no mistake, this was a statement. A warm-up that didn’t just support the night, but elevated it.

We give a warm welcome to Sydney-based artist Trinity, taking center stage in our 323rd episode.

Trinity is a Sydney-based DJ, producer, and performer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. Trinity has earned the respect and love of fans, dancers and peers from Sydney to Berlin — and many destinations in between. Her abundant and diverse talents, her famous work ethic, and her uncompromising musical vision have made her a force to be reckoned with in the world of techno.
Trinity was billed alongside Richie Hawtin at the Vivid Sydney festival at Sydney Opera House; headlined Sydney’s world-famous Mardi Gras celebration; and has played at Tresor, Tomorrowland and many other clubs and festivals across Europe. Other stops on her musical travels have included New Zealand, India and Amsterdam’s famed Red Light Radio.
Each of Trinity’s live shows is marked by her unique versatility: from deep dub-techno, acid and electro to peaktime techno — all combining for a distinct and moving soundscape. Trinity is also one-half of boundary-breaking live act Phax Machine (along with partner Analogue Resistance), with the duo focusing especially on tougher breakbeat and classic rave sounds. 
Trinity’s recorded output includes collaborations with Luke Hess, Eric Cloutier, Headless Horseman and XDB, with her releases making their way into some of the best record shops in the world including Berlin’s Hard Wax. Trinity also runs A&R for Australian techno label Nightime Drama.

Fungal networks stretch deep underground, building connections throughout the forest and maintaining a central flow of life. Such is the relationship our next guest, Jamie McCue, has with the music scene. He is a central connector, working behind the scenes to bring artists together and showcase the very best of ambient and dub techno with his Silent Season imprint. His sound is synonymous with the lightest snow falling at the first sign of winter. It is weightless, radiant, but simultaneously as powerful as the heaviest rain.
