The Story Behind the TAILORS,

The Tailors is a producing and performing DJ duo
based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
There style is described as funky tech-house with a twist of soul.

Bastiaan & Jesse met during high school at age 15. They discovered that they both shared a passion for music and creating it. The love for different styles of music helped them find their own. 

Bastiaan was born on the 12th of July in 1989. At the age of 13 his parents bought him “Magix Music Maker” and this is when he started making songs with loops and samples. During this period he learned playing the drums and started experimenting with DJ-ing and producing. 
After finishing high school he went to the SAE in Amsterdam where he finished the Music Production Course. 

Jesse was born on the 17th of May in 1990. Jesse has always been interested in music, especially since his parents both were DJ’s in their younger years. At young age he learned mixing and had great interest in latin influenced music because of his Surinam roots.

Their fame started with funky remixes of classics from artists such as
Tracy Chapman, George Benson, The Whispers and many more.
They created their own style, which is deep, uplifting and funky.
The Tailors daily produce new original tracks for the world to enjoy.
They have performed in Paris, Cannes, Ibiza, Madrid, Monaco, India, Sao Paulo and many more places all over the world.

Eli Samuel is a rising talent hailing from Leiden, The Netherlands. He made his debut in the music scene at the end of 2020 bringing a breath of fresh air to the electronic music landscape. Eli's musical journey has been heavily influenced by his upbringing and early exposure to various genres.

Growing up, Eli Samuel was exposed to 90s hip-hop music and 90s house, thanks to his parents' musical preferences. This early exposure laid the foundation for his deep appreciation for music. His personal love for jazz, hip-hop, and house further shaped his musical tastes and interests from a young age.

Eli Samuel's passion for creating house music began in 2019, partly driven by his environment and his experience playing the piano. He currently is developing his sound and skills at the Herman Brood Academy. Eli Samuel embarked on his journey to craft a unique and distinctive sound.

One notable characteristic of Eli's music is his incorporation of funk and groovy elements, reflecting his love for these genres. His talent and dedication have earned him recognition in the electronic music world. His EP titled "Lovin' U," released under Rawsome Deep, achieved significant success by reaching the top 3 on Beatport charts. In addition to this milestone, Eli Samuel has contributed to various top house labels, including PIV, Airtime, and Pitch LDN, showcasing his versatility as a DJ and producer in the house music scene. 

Eli Samuel has a promising future ahead of him. It's clear that Eli is only at the beginning of his journey in the world of house music and has the potential to have a significant impact on the scene.
