87/02/02 is more than just an album – it's an unflinching look at the life of Realcal, a young individual navigating the hardships of growing up in the shadow of the Realcal-SA Uprising. Through the gritty, hard-hitting sound of Hip-Hop Drill, this album tells a raw, personal story that intertwines political unrest, social struggles, and the indomitable will to survive.

Taking inspiration from the real-life experiences that defined the Realcal-SA Uprising of the late '80s, 87/02/02 is a powerful, unapologetic sonic journey through the trials, triumphs, and turning points of a life shaped by resistance. The title of the album signifies February 2nd, 1987 – a pivotal moment in the uprising that altered not only the artist’s life but the lives of many in the community, sparking a fire that still burns today.

Blending the intensity of drill beats with the lyrical depth of a storyteller, 87/02/02 transforms the personal into the universal, using music as a weapon to fight back against systemic oppression, inequality, and the struggles of growing up in a turbulent world.
