Cologne-based David Hasert teams up once again with his partner in crime Francesco `Frankie’ Mami from London. Reaping the benefits on a crunchy and highly levelled EP called „Kuloe“, these three tracks plus one remix will bring definitely more heat to the floors of this summer. Expect a pack full of positive vibes!

Carried on intermeshing percussions, the title track rambles ahead with a warm flow through the flourishing garden. Stopping by at the burst of buds, a sweet melody will underscore the mood of this tune. „Excuse me“ says Berlin-based singer Mz Sunday Luv and comes along in collaboration at the so-called track. On a fluffy beat and a portion of weirdness, she sings with her smoky and seductive voice into a sexy dirtyness.

The original of „Clap“ reaches the level of exitement which is necessary for blazing the dancing shoes – at the latest when the bass drops! Beatamines takes the helm for remixing this one and injects some tension for keepin’ it heavily suspensful on a subtly puffed-up sequences. Highly potential!

Bebetta and fellow recent Mona member Cioz have concerns about this scenario. They have no need for an elephant. Nobody does. Bebetta and Cioz want elephants to be free, to roam their habitat, eat trees and trample the dickens out of anything in their way. So they’ve set up a distraction. A decoy so stunning and mesmerising everyone will stop, listen and finally cease bidding on this elephant. It’s a decoy that ripples with timeless synth majesty as it shimmers and rises with dynamics that kick off at an elephantine level.

Complete with a darker, stripped back, groove laden remix from rising duo Innellea; ‘Elephant On Bay does everything they intended it to do and more. See for yourself and check eBay – there are no real life elephants for sale there anymore.

To celebrate this major achievement Bebetta and Cioz have planned in advance and arranged a little party food: ‘Jello’ is every bit as sweet as you’d like it to be. Firm to the touch with a subtle wobble to the core, once again it’s awash with psychedelic synth elements that disarm and whisk you away to that special place. And you’ll be staying in that place the moment you hear ‘Cow Kau’. Once again based on staccato synth rhythm, suddenly, just as we least expect it, it’s under-swept by a delicious molten bassline and an arpeggio that’s close to heavenly. If an elephant ever put a human on eBay, this would be the soundtrack… Triumphant, uplifting, startling and ultimately beautiful.

Seth Schwarz teamed up with his funky fellow Be Svendsen, and together they created something that has the same UV index and the same amount of fresh air as a festival with perfect climatic conditions: During its epic 10 minutes of play time, their highly melodic track “Elves of Karoo” grows just as big and exciting as a full weekend on a dancefloor bathed in a generous amount of direct sunlight. Furthermore, Seth Schwarz adds the solo track “Quando Rando” that is slower but just as compelling and that reflects the classical composition skills of this producer in an intriguingly subliminal way. The amount of great producers who contribute remixes for this EP lives up to the idea of a perfect festival, as well – a festival for lovers of catchy yet sophisticated dance music, that is.

Seth Schwarz und Be Svendsen haben gemeinsam etwas geschaffen, dessen UV-Index und Frischluftgehalt einem Festival mit Bilderbuch-Bedingungen entspricht: Ihr hochgradig melodiöser Track “Elves of Karoo” ist in seinen epischen 10 Minuten Spielzeit mindestens genauso groß und ereignisreich wie ein Wochenende auf einer Tanzfläche unter freiem Himmel. Im Alleingang legt Seth Schwarz außerdem den etwas langsameren, aber genauso zugkräftigen Titel “Quando Rando” nach, in dem er seine klassischen Kompositionskünste mit zurückhaltender Eleganz einsetzt.
