Maxwell’s Nephew is me doing what I love most—playing music, building vibes, and bringing people together through sound and movement. I’m based in Kansas City, and my sets live in the world of disco, house, funk, and those underground deep cuts that make a room move.

The name is a family thing. My late Uncle Floyd used to throw these legendary “Maxwell Parties” that were all about community and joy. Carrying that forward as Maxwell’s Nephew is my way of keeping that energy alive. Every time I play, it’s about creating that same feeling—where the music makes strangers feel like family.

Outside of DJing, I run Cowtown Vintage & Art Exchange, a monthly event at the historic El Torreon. It’s a space where local DJs, artists, and vintage curators come together, and that same grassroots, community-first spirit is always in my sets.
