The birth of this track began from a wooden hut in the surrounding countryside of the Mendips, Bristol. Using only a single microphone, all the sounds you hear, bar the live drums, were recorded by tapping, scratching and knocking on parts of the wooden structure within the hut. Surrounded by nothing but nature in the early hours of a summers day in 2019, each sample chop has its own unique capture of the surrounding ambience, whether it be the birds tweeting, leaves blowing or water running down a stream, it all builds to create a true capturing of a wonderful moment in time, awakening whenever it is played.
