"Seduction: Sexy, Seductive Beats for the Bedroom" was the first CD  Donovan ever produced an Official CD Release Party for back in early 2002 with the W Hotel San Francisco. (See Pictures from the W Hotel "Seduction" CD Release Party in 2002: http://www.donovansf.com/PastPartyPics/PartyPics-nuW3.htm) .  It was perfectly fitting with the sexy, elegant vibe of the W Hotel.  Little did Donovan know, "Seduction" would become one of his most popular mixes that resulted in a series of compilations.  Within weeks of its release, "Seduction" spread like wildfire throughout the Bay Area with major retail stores and upscale restaurants &amp; lounges playing it in constant repeat mode.  However, the most rewarding part was receiving all the positive feedback from people who actually played it in the privacy of their own bedrooms.  The purpose of "Seduction" was to show a different side of house music.  A sensual, erotic side that would "enhance" your sexual experiences just like a good Sade, Maxwell, or Prince CD... Donovan's ultimate goal was to have people putting "Seduction" with those "special" bedroom CDs...  And from the positive  feedback Donovan received, it achieved what he had set to accomplish.
 
A lot of hard work and blood, sweat, and tears went into this album.  Donovan took a lot of pride in each mix and treated every mix like a piece of art.  He tried to present an experience and seamless journey through his music where he took as much pride in the creativity of his mixes as he did the songs themselves.  He strived to evoke a certain emotional reaction when his mix introduced its next song that would carry that feeling on until he orchestrated the next...  Over the years, Donovan collected some of the sexiest records to put on this album.  However, through the hundreds of hours of listening sessions, he came to learn that there is distinct difference between what is "sexy house" and what is "sexual house".   Sexual House is music that grabs you in a different way.  It reaches deep inside of you and pulls out that animalistic, lustful feeling that leaves you sexually tingling.  We don't know how else to describe it, but it's a wonderful feeling.   So through this discovery process of making this CD, Donovan pieced together some of the most incredible songs, some new, some old, that will evoke erotic emotions through you like you have never felt before through house music.  Donovan structured the CD in such a way that, depending on your mood, you can enjoy beautiful, lovemaking music or something a little more lustful and sultry.  He takes you on a musical journey through a new dimension of eroticism that ultimately, auditorily climaxes with instrumental sounds that clearly represent the listener acheiving orgasm.

Hello everyone……yes, these days are very uncertain,  very unknown. A virus which is spreading all over the world and causing so much damage and fear. A modern war in 2020……who could have expected this, exactly…..not many. That reminds me of life in general. This virus shows us again that planning our lives is almost impossible. We don’t have control of everything so therefore can’t predict any outcome of our plans. All we can do is love and live with our full intention and live our lives from our heart and hopefully being very passionate about our mission. We all have our missions in life, one has a bigger impact to the world than others but we all have our roles which are all very important. We all can make changes. We need to be present today because we don’t have a clue what will happen in the next few days, weeks, months. Not to ourselves and not to our loved ones or any other people on this planet. So this is also a time for new opportunities for many. Don’t we want to do what we love, just follow your heart, intuition, listen to what’s inside. Isn’t that what really matters? Let’s be grateful for what we have and for all the people who are fighting for other peoples lives, not only these days but year round. They are our heroes!  We can be our own heroes by fully listening to our core, then we can be proud of who we are. Be intentional and honest to yourself and follow that. And most of all be kind, be loving, be helpful to people who need it most. Do you have an older neighbour or friend or family member who is too afraid to go outside to do grocery shopping? Please help them, buy their groceries or cook them a meal, show them some love and kindness and don’t forget to smile. I know, it’s not always easy but it can make a difference to yourself and the ones around you. Give yourself and others some real love. Thank you.
