Sven Stears is a multi-slam winning performance poet, current Reading Slam Champion, and Lyra Poetry Festival Grand Champion, as well as an artist and filmmaker. 

He has performed across the UK and Europe. His heartfelt poetry touches on themes of personal loss, societal trauma, mental health and addiction, but always with little messages of hope. His work as been compared to that of Buddy Wakefield and Polarbear.
He has worked with Dizraeli, Joelle Taylor, Buddy Wakefield, and supported Neil Hilborn on his UK tour.

As a filmmaker Sven has dedicated his efforts to helping poets create lasting videos to share their own messages and has been featured by film festivals all over the world and won several awards.
