CIAFO is no stranger to the world of Hip-Hop. He’s often been described as a “Southern Gentleman with a unique/edgy swag.” Born and raised in New Orleans. He has seen and experienced first- hand his fair share of tragedy and loss. He’s experienced many personal losses through violence as well as being a victim of the infamous Natural Disaster. 

He has been a lover of music his entire life. Si
nce 1992 Hip-hop has been the passion that has driven his career thus far. The music he creates and produces puts him in a class all by himself. His cutting edge beats can be described as “Raw and Uncut”. They are original and can’t be compared. His motivation is to keep Hop-Hop diversified by understanding the artist as an individual. His “think outside the box” work ethic keeps him at a level that can’t be matched by even the most “seasoned” artist/producer. CIAFO’s musical inspirations include, but aren’t limited to, DMX, C-Murder, Biggie, Nas, and Tupac. Producers, that have influenced him, Lil John, Rodney Jerkins, Dr. Dre, and of course, Mannie Fresh, just to name a few. 

He believes in reaching out and giving back into the community, always there to lend a hand to other people whether young or old. The motto “Reach One - Teach One” is something that has stuck with him throughout his adult life. He’s always looking for new talent as he so often says “If you not GRINDIN what you in this for?” On the production side, he’s working with several “up and coming” artists. CIAFO is more than just “an artist”. His passion for Hip-Hop will keep him “grindin out” fresh beats/music for many years to come.
