MR. VINCE aka "The Talented Mr Vince" aka MR GADGET - SINGER, SONGWRITER, MUSIC COMPOSER, ARRANGER, ACTOR
     Vincent Corey Walker was born on the westside of Illinois   but raised on the southside of Chicago.  Since birth Vince has been singing and writing songs.  He has always been impressed with different artist like  Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Smokey Robinson, Earth Wind And Fire, and Sam Cooke.  
     Being the oldest of five children he had no choice but to be a leader. When he went to High school new doors opened for him &
 he really started to develop his instrument of singing by performing in talent shows and joining the pop swing chorus. But singing wasn’t enough 
He learned to write songs and play piano by ear which, lead him to 
composing music. 
   
His career really took off when he met Robert Kelly (R. Kelly), Shawnth Brooks and Marc Mc Williams and they formed a group called
"R. Kelly and MGM" (Mentally Gifted Men). From there they went on to perform and sing in various talent shows Showtime At The Apollo,  music convention, The New Regal Talent Show and Fox Televisions Big Break hosted by Natalie Cole.  The group won every event but, the ride soon came to an end when the group broke up and went separate ways. 
     
Since then Vince has toured opening up for artist such as: the Undisputed Truth, Brian Mc Knight, Yolanda Adams, and Avant.  He sang background for Atlantic records R&B group  Intro, Howard Hewett, and  Gary Jenkins from the R&B group "Silk". Vince Also was  the was first runner up for Chicago radio station 107.5 WGCI's contest CHICAGO IDOL.
      
     Acting has also played a part in Vince’s career he played the lead role in the stage play THE SULTRY MEN OF SOUL. Where he played the part of Donny Hathaway at the Oasis Edutainment Theater in Dolton Illinois. And he played a role in an independent movie MY PHAMILY BBQ (Maverick Entertainment) 2003.   in 2013 join the cast of Zeola Gaye's My Brother Marvin stage play as the role of Frankie Gaye and in the ensemble group "The Distance" LaFace Records recording Group "AZ Yet".
in 2014 Vince was a part of the cast "Car Wash" The Norman Whitfield story in California.  Playing the supporting role of Joe (Blue) Harris from the recording group "The Undisputed Truth".
