Rasim Fasikhov, also known as Ra5im, is a Tatar musician and singer whose music takes its roots from national culture and traditional ethnic instruments.

The first release of the artist was launched in 2015 on Elliptical Sun Melodies. Since then, Rasim has been looking for his sound and came to the conclusion that it is possible to combine folk motifs with electronic music. Thus, the track "Messages" was created, which was then released on the Human Turbines label of a friend and countryman — Cramp. Later, along with another friend, Idy Ramy, Rasim released the "Perfect Life" EP on Emergent Music. The release was supported by several radio shows, including Silk Music Showcase, which inspired Rasim to continue working in this direction.

Debuting in 2022 with “Give Me A Second” alongside Fløa, Ra5im quickly became a regular artist on Monstercat Silk, earning recognition for his emotive and atmospheric sound. His notable releases include the “Echo of Silence” EP with OAI, where the title track was featured in the Roblox DJ Simulator game, as well as “Hope”, a collaboration with Forty Cats, and the solo EP “Talk To Me”.

2025 marks a new chapter in Ra5im’s artistic journey, as he embraces chill and deep house vibes, working with some of the scene’s finest talents, including A.M.R, Cornelius SA, Dokho, Cloudcage, and Arnie Way. Despite this evolution, he continues to stay true to his signature sound, seamlessly merging melodic depth with organic influences.
