Techno music producer and DJ, influenced by names like Umek, Rafael Cerato, Christian Smith, Adam Beyer, Mython, Cristian Glitch, Martyn Päsch, T78, Mark Dekoda, Drunken Kong, Betoko and legends from the Croatian techno scene, Alen Sforzina and DJ Ogi.

How did I start with This Kind Of Music?
It was a night at Hartera, Rijeka's legendary ex-paper mill factory, where great electronic music parties were thrown. It was an experience in which I realized that all I want to do in life is Techno.

Alessio Marchetti in arte Jay-x nasce a Roma nel 1973.

Frequentando i locali della riviera romagnola da adolescente si accorge di quanto sia innamorato della musica. Il mondo della notte lo affascina a tal punto che decide di intraprendere la professione di DJ che inizia nel 1992 in una Radio Romana.
Qui si indirizza e si canalizza sempre piu’ in una specifica tipologia musicale l’House, che ripropone anche nei migliori locali della capitale e non solo. La sua passione per la musica lo porta a sperimentare nuove sonorita’ anche nel campo discografico.
Ha lavorato per m2o, radio dance nazionale al progetto “UMC”. Attualmente lavora per la sua etichetta (Yatagan Records)

Jay-x born Alessio Marchetti - in Rome, Italy, 1973

Having spent his time going to various venues on the Roman riviera, he fell in love with the world of music. Night life fascinated him so much that
he decided to start DJ'ing. He began his career in 1992 on Roman radio. Here he particularly explored House music, which came up again in the Rome venues, and not only. His passion for music inspired him to experiment with new sonorities also in the world of recording. He has worked for m2o, a national dance radio, on the project "UMC". He now works for his label (Yatagan Records).
