Oxjam Bracknell 2014-2016. The original Oxjam brought to Bracknell in 2014 raised nearly £1,800 over 3 years for the charity Oxfam with the aim of uniting the local music scene & community through music. Thanks to all that played, helped out, attended & supported. Who knows maybe one day the original may return if our efforts are ever respected by the local music scene we tried to help. Revenant are a DADA inspired hardcore punk band, who take elements of early 80’s Hardcore and mix that with Bluesy Hard Rock; add a dash of plain old crazy(like Voting for Nick Clegg post-coalition) and you have Penyrn’s premier Punk act. Revenant is made up of Kizzy Porter on Bass, Beef on Drums, and wonderfully Welsh guitarist and singer Rhys ‘Cody Reats’ Harrison. So if you are longing for a musical experience that makes you want to run around in a circle and have a wholesomely indifferent time, look no further Revenant are just three power chords away from unfolding your arms,making you look with your eyes not through your phone, and taking you back to when Punk was fun.
