Jim Burnett III (Born April 16,1987), better known by his stage name Jaybo. Jaybo is an independent American rapper originally from Topeka, Kansas. He now resides in Phoenix, Arizona where he has released two mixtapes to critical acclaim and recognition. Jaybo released his first mixtape Anything Goes in 2009, followed by Just Me in 2010. His new mixtape Bad Decisions + Good Intentions (Stylised as Bad Decision$ + Good Intention$) is set to release March 16, 2013. 

Early Life
Jim Burnett III was born in 1987, in Topeka, Kansas. His family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona when Jaybo was 9 years old, and he attended Chandler High School. Jaybo also attended Collins College where he enhanced his creativity visually and musically, molding his image. He has 2 older sisters and a twin sister. His interest in music came from hearing his mom sing around the house. Jaybo claims to have started writing songs at the age of 14. He started rapping by the name “Bo”, but eventually changed it to Jaybo. He said he felt the name was too short for an alias and decided to add the “J” from his first name. He attributes his influences to hip hop legends such as Outkast, Biggie, UGK, Bone Thugs N Harmony, and Three 6 Mafia.
