I stopped to take a breath when I came across a foreign berry bush. After closer inspection, I realized they were in fact edible. I was starving. The last few discoveries I had given away to strangers that picked the bushes clean. Right as I was about to start foraging, another stranger with 2 heavy baskets full of berries started to forage next to me. 

"These are poisonous," I told the stranger.

They wandered off believing my word to which I finally could have a moment to eat.

"Grandmother Mago" is a mythical figure from the Korean folk tale who created all of nature and the geographical formations of this universe.
Reenacting this Korean Genesis, the team merges the Korean tradition and innovation, hoping to find the next direction for the Korean arts and performance. 

한국 전통의 마고할미 설화는 옛 한국인이 바라본 세상의 시작을 담고 있다. 전통의 마고할미 이야기와 현대적 공연 기법의 만남, 한국적인 비주얼과 첨단 기술의 만남, 바라보기만 했던 하늘과 탐험하는 우주의 만남. 그 만남들의 사이에서 일어날 상승작용을 통해 한국적 공연예술의 다음 발걸음을 바라본다.
