Thomas alias Electric-dB is a young artist from Toulouse (France).
His passion for the music from the youngest age and a temperament of relentless worker will lead him to practise music in perfect self-taught. 
In 2011 he signs his first EP " Eight " on a recognized label from Toulouse, ALLTEK, beside producers such as Noisebuilder, Electrobugz, The Edge … (EP who will be classified in the Pip(Top) 10 of the numerous platforms). 
Thomas signs then at the other labels (Rotraum, RWM,) then at Inlab with his last one EP "Venus" composed with Sinusic. (EP already remixed by Romulus, Teho, David Prap and Willy Real). 
His recent remix of the piece of Fabien Dalzin " La Photographie ", knows a big success and appears in number of playlists.

2nd Story is dedicated to creating and crafting story-sharing experiences that foster meaningful connections between individuals and communities. We believe that well-crafted, well-told stories can be a catalyst for change for artist and audience alike.

We believe that stories are what bind us to each other.
We want to live in a world driven by empathy.

We host events in and around Chicago that elevate the storyteller’s words to deliver a unique, live, literary/theatrical experience unlike any other in the city. From small bars in Rogers Park and North Center, to big venues in Lakeview and the West Loop, to restaurants in Lincoln Park and Evanston, we produce over 30 events every season and facilitates over 145 artistic collaborations. 

We craft story-sharing experiences in the form of both performances and workshops and classes. A typical show or event consists of several stories dispersed throughout the evening like courses of a meal. The stories range from the earnest and serious to the light-hearted and humorous, and can simultaneously provoke and entertain.

Our venues are as varied as our stories, and run the gamut from intimate wine bars and pubs to spacious performance halls, conference rooms, and open-office environments. Our storytellers are equally diverse, and come from all walks of life: a pastor, a bartender, a child psychiatrist, and a lawyer…their individual stories help to bridge the gap between the personal and the universal, and break down the walls between and unite artists and audiences in and among different communities.

I think I've been pretty lucky and lived a pretty interesting life. My name is Jay Crandell and I have become very interested in our unlikely origins while reflecting on my unlikely survival from a very serious gunshot wound to the brain. This led me to examine our improbable emergence as a species and a civilization - and it sure looks like we're all really lucky Martians living in a multiverse, who owe our existence to Jupiter's presence, the Zanclean flood, the savannah's emergence and the hallucinogenic mushrooms that would grow on the droppings of the ruminants there, a well-timed supernova and an unusually docile sun!

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, multi-disciplinary artist, music label founder and former scientist who has carved out a unique space in music and visual art.

He holds a PhD in computational biology at the same time as being the first contemporary electronic musician to perform at the ancient Acropolis theatre in Athens and one of the first clutch of musicians to produce in Dolby Atmos.

Cooper has enquired for over 15 years through music, collaborations, and his label Mesh, to explore the intersections between the arts and sciences with installations, performances, immersive experiences, online media, music videos and live events.  Anchored throughout is his emotive approach, connecting how ideas and forms feel, in a manner accessible to us all. 
 
As an artist synonymous with the evolution of club culture, Cooper honed his craft as a DJ with a 10 year residency at legendary Midlands techno event Firefly where he formed a foundational relationship with Architecture Social Club, with whom he still collaborates on extravagant immersive installations.

"I want to encourage the acceptance of electronic music as an art form like any other. Bringing electronic music and abstract audio-visual projects into concert halls, museums and galleries is liberating - the art world opens up doors to communicate in ways that aren’t possible elsewhere."
  
Pivoting from computational biology to electronic music might not seem like the most natural career transition, but for Cooper the commonalities are obvious:

The Cyberpunkers, in their own way, have captured what Cyberpunk is in the modern era.
Through their performances at highly produced clubs & festivals around the globe, they’ve become an international name, one which has helped define the crossover between contemporary sounds and an unforgiving, upfront musical mentality.
All their music is produced entirely by them in their studio in Milan (IT) from sound design to production until finalization. 
Their identities are hidden through a masked look which they've donned since the beginning.
This is gave them a unique style, something that is a fundamental part of each one of their sonic offerings.
The originality of their shows is also a stand out part of their dynamic, with the use of two consoles at once, powered by several audio machines, captivating people over an era.
