Who is J.Taylor? Born in the mid 80’s In Brownsville Tennessee to parents Blanch Manns & Roy Taylor. Being the Oldest of 11 kids and being in raised in Rockford IL by his Grandmother and Aunt Mary doing the earlier ages of his life. When he first discovered music it was Gospel Music, which had his attention. Being so into Gospel music he then formed a Gospel group with his cousins Porsha and Takela. However his main focus was his siblings, losing the focus of music until his uncle came along and took on the responsibilities. Coming into his teen years his ear for music changed and R&B artist like Deborah Cox, Whitney Houston, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Ginuwine and R.Kelly looking to these artist as role models he then became more involved with wanting to write music more than sing music, seeing as if he felt he had a lot to write about from events that took place in his life.  Being inspired by his very own uncle he then want to learn and own business he then turned his focus to school. Attending Auburn Knights Senior High school which it had its very own multi culture club where then music was still a factor having the urge to want to do music again artist such as Boyz 2 Men, Toni Braxton, Aaliyah and destiny’s child  it challenge him even more. In the early 2000’s he then formed an R&b group with his sisters (July). Still keeping focus on school he graduate in 2004. Entering a talent show where usher you got it bad got him first place. He then pursued wanting to be a solo act, however he never fully had courage to be on the stage alone. Attending college where he study criminal justice, accounting, and medical billing but graduate with a degree in business management and early childhood. After putting music on the back burner he then began to manage a dance team of young children fatally Unique of Rockford IL and crushin all forces of Madison Wisconsin, where there appeared  BET 106 & park wild out Wednesday and Americas Got Talent. Seeing how he help make a difference in ppl lives it made him then want to focus on making a difference he then created his own management company MannsWorld Inc. Where he was the very 1st client. hearing Tamela Mann voice he then audition for  Gospel sensation where his voice was good but he wasn’t ready for TV, Still having the fear of being a solo act He was then introduced to Melody and Lyric and his 1st song Roll with me was released in 2016 on all digital music outlets.  After meeting Simone Mosley of purple Diamond Promotions she now manages him and nothing but the best of Early 90’s R&B return. Being inspired and having the drive to do music again artist like Tamar Braxton, Tank and Tyrese gives him the Hope that R&b is still here and his sound will be heard. #2018whoisj.taylor
