Been a while since we shared a guest Podcast but we are back with a very special mix. This guest has been around for quite some time but over the last 10 or so years has emigrated, started a family and invested his spare time in building a studio, collecting some choice pieces of hardware and mastering them. Good friend Jamie Cox has supplied us with a mix which is perfectly crafted, tracks meticulously selected and arranged to give you over 2 hours of listening pleasure. In this mix he puts the Elektron Octatrack, 2 x 1210's, 2 x cdj's to good use finding moments of magic where he can slip a third track between 2 then running polyrhythms from the Octatrack over the top. Techno DJ/Producer/Designer aka Colin Farmer. Resident at Mutate Events. Co-host Mutate Radio on Dublin Digital Radio. Produces under the name Unthink, which is also the name of the design studio he runs with Noelle Cooper. He's one half of Dirkenbauer, a collaboration with Dirk Heynen (aka Soul Scent/Billious Fog). As a designer he's created sleeves for All City Records, Earwiggle and posters for Mutate, Subject, Index and District 8.
