A new set from the Before The Curfew series, performed by Raavel at Ground Floor on March 30th, is now available on our SoundCloud. Despite being constantly on the front lines, Raavel's still making music and gearing up for a new release. During a small break, he visited us to share the energy and thoughts that have accumulated over time. 

Raavel is a DJ, producer, and soldier who has been defending Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale invasion. During the war, Raavel released a vinyl EP "Insect Replicant" on DJ MELL G's "Juicy Gang Records" label, and the track "Wakalaka" was included in Helena Hauff's compilation from London's Fabric Records. 

Before the Curfew is a series of music podcasts that emerged in 2022 after the reopening of the club following the liberation of Kyiv. All recordings presented in this series take place before midnight, before the curfew begins. Before the Curfew offers a vibrant snapshot of the Ukrainian music scene amidst challenging times, celebrating resilience, creativity, and unity through music.

Primitive is a DJ from St. Petersburg, resident of Roots United. His passion for DJing began with collecting jungle and drum and bass records. Next - regular broadcasts on the online radio TESTFM and performances in local clubs. Today, having expanded his musical boundaries, he has become a frequent participant in independent festivals and new places of power. His selection is a hypnotic mutation of a combination of genres that seem incompatible.

Далее — регулярные эфиры на онлайн-радио TESTFM и выступления в локальных клубах. Сегодня, расширив музыкальные границы, стал частым участником независимых фестивалей и новых мест силы. Его селекция — гипнотическая мутация сочетания жанров, которые кажутся несовместимыми.
