The Mutate Podcast series is curated by Jay Carroll, founder of Mutate Events Dublin, Ireland. Avid record collector, Dj/host of the Mutate Radio show on Europe's number 1 online radio station, DDR-Dublin Digital Radio. Through the bi-weekly show (Every 2nd Thursday from 10pm GMT) & through our events (pre pandemic!) we strive to give a platform to the best in break through Irish talent and & to international talent who we respect/admire. Pat is a vinyl loving, eclectic and adventurous DJ, specializing in disco, house, techno and all things fun and groovy. Driven by the joy of sharing the music he loves and making people dance, he uses his 8 years experience to ensure a memorable night is had by all. 

As an avid record collector, Pat unearths hidden and forgotten gems with a focus on what will set the dancefloor alight and create lasting memories. Through his residency at Refuge Worldwide radio station in Berlin he shares his deep passion for music in and outside of the club.

Doug Cooney is a long-standing contributor to Ireland’s techno scene. Early on, he was influenced by artists such as Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, James Ruskin, Steve Rachmad, Reeko, BMB, Surgeon, and Exium. 
He is a founding member of RLSD Records, a label that has consistently supported forward-thinking techno. Alongside his output as a producer and DJ, Doug teaches at Bray Institute of Further Education, helping to support and develop the next generation of Irish techno artists.
Doug’s productions have received support from respected names like Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, and Rødhåd. He has worked with Aiken, Binny, Lee Holman and Jon Hester, who have remixed his tracks. Doug also regularly features on Dave Clarke’s White Noise radio show on 2fm, showcasing his unreleased music.

Techno DJ/Producer/Designer aka Colin Farmer. Resident at Mutate Events. Co-host Mutate Radio on Dublin Digital Radio. Produces under the name Unthink, which is also the name of the design studio he runs with Noelle Cooper. He's one half of Dirkenbauer, a collaboration with Dirk Heynen (aka Soul Scent/Billious Fog). As a designer he's created sleeves for All City Records, Earwiggle and posters for Mutate, Subject, Index and District 8.
