Jay grew up playing in bands and has recorded countless songs, but has lately begun working on self-produced solo material. Jay plays every instrument in each of his songs.

Musical inspirations include bands such as Muse, Metallica, 30 Seconds to Mars, and composers like Hans Zimmer & Thomas Newman.
