Jay Gxld is a 21 year-old, Brooklyn born artist and 404 Faction member who began writing and recording in January 2016. Shortly after he began, Jay Gxld and KINGMiDAS, a fellow 404 member, formed the duo “48K.”  Since joining forces, the two artists rap together seemingly as one. With MiDAS’ sharp and accurate flow, and Jay’s calm cadence, the two compliment each other like Yin and Yang. Jay Gxld finds his influences in artists such as Kanye West, T-Pain, The Underachievers & Kendrick Lamar, which is shown in his variety of sounds and moods. Jay Gxld’s music relies heavily on emotion on both ends of the spectrum, Jay Gxld’s appeal lies in his open heart, vulnerable lyrics, and calm delivery that everyone can connect with.
