This song goes way back, I had the cheesiest of drum machines, the cheesiest bass,2 strings on it, I was all of 20 just learning how to write songs, at that time I was still old school in thinking that every song needed a lead solo, in this one I am winging it on a feeling and a prayer, this song has a darker feel than the one I recorded in the big studio, where instead of trying to recapture this one's feel I went for something completely new, but I am thinking the reason I could flow here is because the beat is more like a gentle 4x4 I don't know but putting songs here to protect them is a good idea, I know it isn't great but what it lacks in mechanical is more than made up for in soul, to me it's soulful, I was releasing, Lol but it's from my youth, so I gave her heck, recovering from the initial trauma of the shock to the system, , I might as well, maybe someone will get it and like it, I hope so,
