Kuala Lumpur based independent artist, Jay Ivanez, has been active in writing and producing music since late 2018. Where musical genres are concerned - he constantly tries to experiment and blend ideas from various influences and sources. 

Dominantly inspired by guitar hereos from the 60s-90s, soulful riffs and guitar solos are a staple in his compositions. But his passions lie not only creating more interesting textures with it, but eventually breaking out of that format with tracks like : At The Door and E4E as a start.

By the time Jay released The River, his third single, he has been noticed by local radio stations and involved with the independent music movement of Kuala Lumpur.
