Heavenly Father,

On this day we come before You with grateful hearts, thankful for the gift of another morning, for breath in our lungs, and for Your unending mercy that is new every day.

Lord Jesus, You are the light that shines in the darkness of this world. As we move through this day, help us to walk in Your truth, to reflect Your love in our words and actions, and to extend grace to those around us. Give us wisdom in our decisions, patience in difficulties, and courage to stand for what is right.

Holy Spirit, guide our steps and quiet our anxious thoughts. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and remind us of Your presence in every moment—whether in joy or in trial.

We lift up those who are hurting today: the lonely, the sick, the grieving, and those facing uncertainty. Surround them with Your comfort and use us as instruments of Your kindness.

Forgive us where we have fallen short, and renew our hearts to love You more deeply and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

We trust You with this day and all that it holds, knowing that You are good, faithful, and always with us.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

I don’t cry when your name comes up,
I just pause.
Some feelings never leave your chest—
They soften.

I laugh again, I sleep okay,
But still,
Your memory knows the quiet ways—
