The Poeticast returns for Episode 127 and we are delighted to welcome Hydrangea to the podcast.

Hydrangea is a French electronic producer, making techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic techno landscapes.

Hydrangea has released her debut album on the Annulled Music imprint, called 'Dawn Lights', a sensorial trip that captures each of your senses. She also released an EP on Two&Two Records and tracks on VA compilations. 

Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

Episode 127 is a fantastic peregrination through an ambient soundscape that defines Hydrangea's work in the studio and live performances.

Hydrangea has had work released on Annulled, Absolute, Hypnotic Landscapes, Silent Seasons, and most recently Accent Records. The latest EP can be acquired on Bandcamp:

The Poeticast - Episode 127 (Hydrangea Guest Mix)

Sri-Lanka born, Sweden raised, the enigmatic @Kalawila has an affinity for the uncertain, drawing inspiration from unconventional experiences and remote travels.

Through his time in Berlin, he realised techno was a modern way of describing a fundamental feeling dating back to ancient times. He explores this feeling within his DJ sets and productions on the likes of Bossmusik and his own label Mountain Explosion Device, examining textures and the void-like space between spaces.

We are happy to present the first Patterns of Perception mix of 2017 – a forward thinking, uncompromising affair from the immensely talented Swedish artist.

Maurizio Cascella is an elegant, complete artist. His production, with unique and profound sounds, tells his passion and his multiform artistic imagination. Passion that is reflected in its immense collection of vinyls, an artistic laboratory that is not only an archive but an inexhaustible source of inspiration and production.

The idea of ​​creating a model of original music through the harmonious fusion between different styles makes it from the beginning a DJ and an extremely eclectic producer. Born in 1977, Cascella is an undisputed reference point of the Roman electronic scene that has distinguished itself and rooted in the international scene. From the beginning in ’93 with the historical UMM label to the productions signed with Joe Casagrande for the electronic label Romana distributed exclusively worldwide by the German Kompakt, his musical career is tight and constant. In 2010 he founded the label Concrete Records together with Phooka and Daniele Bazzanti, producing artists such as Voices From The Lake, Minilogue, Cassegrain.

On The Way To Kolorádó 2019 continues with new mixes by PIZZA AMORE and CRIME.

After our first contribution to Kolorádó last summer, when we brought some psy-techno vibes to the Csodaszarvas (Sacred Dear) stage with special guest James Monro, to make the festival’s program even more colorful, this June we join our forces again in the Nagykovácsi forest.

After moving there, Pizza Amore quickly found themselves in the dj booth of the best clubs in Budapest. The duo is known for combining timeless grooves with the freshest sounds. They curate a bi-weekly gathering in the heart of the city but illegal parties and dark clubs are their home. Regular guests at the mhmm parties and co-founders of the new Torso collective. Their sets are diverse, so the electronic music lovers are going to definitely enjoy this.
