In his early life, after his parents divorced, Barry Beezy grew up in poverty stricken neighborhoods ­ Pineridge, Lincoln Estates and Duval Community. As his mother’s only child, Barry had a vision early on of making life better for her and his family. Beezy has been writing and rapping since age 4. In middle school, Barry Beezy began the development of "​Sunshine State Entertainment",​which features his two label brothers, first cousin, DC Swaggz; and friends Fat Boi Live. After graduation from Gainesville High School in 2009, he attended college. And, although a bright student, Barry’s focus was on creating his music. So, even though he understands the importance and value of education, after 1 year, he made a made a conscious decision to drop out and pursue his entertainment dreams.

“Barry Beezy is a trendsetter and is blazing a trail with catchy lines and an unmistakable flow”.​Although Beezy’s base is in North Central Florida, he is rapidly gaining a large following of loyal fans nationwide. Beezy says that his mission in life is to one day become successful in every aspect of the music industry.
