Born in Jamaica, raised in the humble city of Portmore, Gavin Lawrence was no stranger to music. His father, who used to be in a band, influenced him from early on and his love and appreciation for music grew. Starting to compose songs at 12, the never ending urge to create only grew stronger. 
Now 20, G Law creates music that can be considered dancehall and some of a more Caribbean house vibe. Ranging topics, the songs are catchy and leave the listener humming the song long after it has stopped playing.
