I wrote this song back in 2014 when I was 16 and recorded it using the microphone on my earpiece - just me and my guitar. Fast forward to 2021, I decided to re-record this song with a different interpretation and since my taste in music has changed drastically, I wanted to see how different I could remake it. 

It took me awhile (quite a long while) to figure out the kind of sound and tone I was going for, and with the super helpful advice of my friend, Josh Wei, who is also a producer, I managed to develop this song into something I am kinda proud of.

I was really hesitant to put this song out here online because it definitely isn't the best quality in terms of sound and production, but I guess it's just a little fun project that I did during my free time and I hope that there will be someone out there who enjoys/relates to it!

i was talking to gareth one day and he told me that he wrote this poem and after i read his poem, it really overwhelmed me as i could really relate to it. so i asked gareth if i could use his poems as lyrics and he agreed, and hence i've composed this song. almost all the lyrics are written by him and all i did was add the extra emotions by composing a tune to it. i hope that yall will be able to relate to it as well and like this original song of ours :)
