Displacement, disconnect, disfunctional, disturbed. Loss of identity, loss of my voice and the freedom to express it,
but I kept writing. I kept writing stories and I kept writing experiences of my life which I knew somebody else would have gone through or soon would. I went away in search of connecting with my inner man, heart hardened towards fulfilling a calling that has been evident from an early stage of my past time. I needed to escape from familiarity but, I carried with me unwritten- to music. One day I stayed up listening to this music and I remember knowing exactly which direction to take, I remember the vision of where the music took me, a real escape where a bird flew across the skies with its creator who began to teach it again how to be free and serve its purpose. The bird was ready to do what it was created to do and so I called it, Songbird
