Während sie in Leipzig eng mit der lokalen Szene rund um das inzwischen geschlossene, aber legendäre Institut für Zukunft und die Neue Welle verbunden ist, hat sie auch auf renommierten Bühnen wie ://about:blank, Tresor und Berghain gespielt.

Als Gründerin des Focus: Podcast und Mitglied des Nebula-Kollektivs prägt sie eine ästhetische Handschrift, die zwischen trippiger Tiefe, dunkler Energie und minimal-grooviger Leichtigkeit oszilliert. Ihr Anspruch ist es, Sets mit klarer Dramaturgie zu gestalten, die das Publikum auf eine Reise mitnehmen – mit einem roten Faden, der von den ersten bis zu den letzten Klängen durchgezogen ist.

Besondere Aufmerksamkeit erregte ihr legendäres Closing im Tresor, bei dem sie trotz Nervosität und angeschlagener Gesundheit die Nacht bis in den Mittag hinein prägte. A Leipzig-based DJ, V:SONNTAG has long made a name for herself beyond the borders of her hometown with her hypnotic and focused sound. While deeply connected to the local scene surrounding the now-closed but legendary Institut für Zukunft and Neue Welle, she has also performed at renowned venues such as ://about:blank, Tresor, and Berghain.

As the founder of the Focus: Podcast and a member of the Nebula collective, she shapes an aesthetic signature that oscillates between trippy depth, dark energy, and minimal, groovy lightness. Her ambition is to create sets with a clear dramaturgy that take the audience on a journey – with a red thread running from the very first to the very last sound.

Her legendary Tresor closing gained particular attention, where despite nervousness and feeling unwell, she shaped the night until well into the following day. The intensity of this experience and her close connection to those around her highlight how much V:SONNTAG understands music not only as performance, but as a collective experience.

Her “secret weapon” is meticulous preparation: every set is carefully thought out to deliberately shape the flow and gradually build up the energy in the room. In doing so, she loves to combine dark, hypnotic sounds with melodic elements that create surprising twists along the way.

Artist bio:
Samo Rane is a techno artist, sound engineer, and mastering specialist based in Berlin. Originally from Iran, he came to Germany as a refugee, bringing with him a strong connection to music and a personal history shaped by resistance and change.

His music combines deep rhythms, atmospheric sounds, and emotional intensity. It reflects his journey and speaks to themes like struggle, hope, and transformation.

Samo is the founder of mercyTechno, a platform that supports artists and voices often overlooked in the electronic music scene. The project focuses on topics like human rights, migration, gender equality, and freedom of expression.

He is also a resident DJ at Hypnotical Underground and the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton, where he regularly shares his unique sound with the local techno community.

Flashe, the alias of Eugene Vozbraniuk, is a producer and DJ from Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. He creates techno with smooth, live mixes. His approach combines attention to track structure, groove, and sound details, making each mix immersive and organic. His tracks have been played at clubs and festivals such as Fabric, Tresor, Bassiani, Gare Porto, TV Lounge Detroit, Lanna Festival and Pohoda Festival, as well as on podcasts like Deep Space Helsinki, Blank Code Detroit, FIP Radio (France Inter Paris) and Mixmag Ukraine. I aimed to make a progression from House to breaks, speeding up to Techno and a Dnb/jungle track to end the selection. The set is 50% my own music and 50% artist I enjoy at the moment. Keeping it elegant/jazzy and sophisticated inside the frame of electronic dance music. Diversity with a common ground, the dancefloor.

This is Techno Jazz w/ Atonism

Perhaps most known for his work as half of techno outfit Cassegrain, Istanbul native Hüseyin Evirgen has been active as solo artist since 2016 and making a name in his own right. His early classical training has taken a broader form in more recent years, a mashup of inspirations with strong mathematical current where simple ideas culminate in more complex and exponential compositions. Under the name Magna Pia, and adjunct label Arcing Seas his hulking techno has taken shape, and the imprint’s proven a platform for the publishing of his own work, Cassegrain’s and that of a small number of his close collaborators. His driving beats offer powerful and provocative moments mixed in with a clever spin on ambient that’s recognizable from a mile off, and constantly pushing what’s possible in sound to new and unforeseen heights. His 2019 album Daiauna was a return to roots record that incorporated his earlier training as piano player with the fluid electronics developed since, foraging too from his keen instinct for primal rhythms and high-brow symbolism. In the end it’s deeply physical, and proof of techno’s staying power as a medium for dance and social change. Bassiani Podcast 27 covers all these bases and more, an honest and striking addition to a body of work in constant flux. 4/4 magic from a true master.
