Os Mustang Blues Brothers nasceram no encontro entre velhos amigos de estrada, de bares, da vida. A gangue formada por Manolo Kottwitz (Vocais e apetrechos), Murilo Chaise (Slide Guitar e Backing), João Inácio (Violão e Harmônica), Murilo Cavagnoli (Contrabaixo), Rafael Tagliari (Bateria), André Castaman (Sax Tenor) e Jakson Kreuz (Piano), lançou-se na caminhada de levar ao Velho Oeste catarinense aquele certo tipo de música que se faz usando o coração: O bom e velho Blues.
Resgatando grandes monstros do gênero de todas as épocas, desde Roberto Johnson, passando por Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Clapton, Johnny Cash, a banda põe os bares à baixo com marcantes interpretações e também com algumas composições próprias, levando seu público a uma tal embriaguez que não é apenas sonora.

Bio: I'm a portuguese self taught guitar player with a passion for good music. I like all genres of music but the ones I find myself enjoying the most are tracks that have a bluesy, jazzy sound to it.
Growing up at from about age 6-10 I listened to a lot of grunge, nu metal and other genres but mostly nirvana, korn, limp bizkit, pearl jam, stone temple pilots, radiohead, the offspring and system of a down. From 10 to about 16 I listened to a lot of hip-hop and reggae music, mostly portuguese hip-hop bob marley and gentleman. 
It was only at 16 that I finally first picked up a guitar. I fell in love with it from the start, and as soon as I learned the first chords I knew I wanted to be a player. The moment for me that I said I want to do this was after looking up "Blues" on youtube and listening to a bb king solo. I was so amazed at what he could do with the guitar and the whole style he created that it completly blew my mind!
After I started playing guitar I started expanding my music taste to all diferent genres ranging from my guitar favorites like: jimi hendrix, b.b. king, led zeppelin, pink floyd, john mayer and dire straits to jazz/blues/rnb greatest: Frank sinatra, stevie wonder, miles davis, chet baker to totally different genres like Tool, The doors, sbtrkt, alt-j, tame impala, the xx, Manel Cruz, Linda martini, etc etc.

So this here is my little project, I trully love making tracks and posting them online for you guys to enjoy :)

Hello, here are my assignments for Jazz Improvisation Course, Garry Barton's class and also my last assignment for Practical Musicianship course on Coursera. I've enjoyed so much participating in this course. It was very productive and educational. The format of coursera changed now. I'm glad I had the chance to join it.

All backing tracks were provided for our assignments.

We've been given the melodies and chords progressions for our improvisations apart from assignment 2 where we were improvising using popular jazz modes.
