I am Sébastien Hugue. I’m both a double-bass player and an electric bass player. 
I am French but i’m living in Belgium and I am being active on the Belgian jazz scene as well as rock and pop. I studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels and obtained a Bachelor of Music in 2023. I’m currently a freelance musician as well as a sideman of several guest entertainers on cruiseships. I can be an orchestra musician with the versatility of an improvisor.

Lewiston-Auburn based ensemble available to play gigs all over the mid-coast and southern Maine. Playing jazz standards and originals, the nucleus of the group includes John Smedley on guitar and Tim Clough on double bass. The group also performs as a trio with drums, ad trio with sax and no drums, and a quartet.
