Our newest beat tape is a special one in that it's our first split release, with Norwegian producer J.Folk handling the first half of the tracks for Side A and Norwegian producer Shofel closing out the second half of the release on Side B. Both artists provide hip-hop beats as well as mellow and cozy lofi. Late night rainfall and afternoon daydreams. Equal parts jazzy, electronic, and boom bap, it's chill every step of the way.

College Music's fifteen track original compilation entitled 'PhonoSynthesis'. The project explores the relationship between sound and nature (Phonograph // Photosynthesis) and releases on 25th October, also featuring the likes of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Jon Kennedy, Prefuse 73 and lots more. Musically speaking, the project defines as 'Psychedelic Ambient', inspired by the likes of Mort Garson's 'Plantasia' - analogue synthesis interwoven with live, acoustic instrumentation and no drums throughout the entire project. The project begins and ends with solo harp, and in-between the listener is transported on a carefully curated journey through synthesised and acoustic soundscapes alike.

August Pemberton is not an ordinary 19 years old university student. When it comes to creating whimsical and inspiring beats imagiro is pretty much unbeatable. Studying computer science he also created his own virtual instrument, one step more in the beginning of his journey towards finding his signature sound. 

Growing up in a musical family, his introduction to the world of sounds dates back to his early childhood. Transitioning from playing piano to producing and using DAW stations, imagiro’s first goal had been making video game beats. Fast-forward to 2020 and his sound has evolved into a beautifully crafted blend of hip hop and ambient music.
