Leakz Lenin

Malik Sims aka Leakz Lenin is an American born Entertainer, Rapper, Song Writer and Recording Artist at Epiffany Productions inc. Born May 21st 1985 in the Southside Jamaica Queens section of New York City

Leakz grew heavily influenced by music early in his life by his siblings, by his sisters who were singers and songwriters and a older brother who was a producer. Music and late night studio sessions were a normality throughout childish due to his brother creating a studio inside their shared bedroom. 

Early Life- Leakz is the Youngest of Six to his Mother and Second of three to his Father. In 1991, Leakz mother moved him and his siblings to Fresh Meadows, A neighborhood in the Northern Side of Queens in search of a better upbringing for her children 

Early Career- 

Leakz realized that he wanted to become a rapper shortly after listening to "Notorious Thugs" by Biggie due to his fascination with the lyrical wordplay and unorthodox way of expression. By the 7th grade He began to write lyrics in the back pages of his school books. 

In 2000, He started free-styling with friends and eventually formed a group in which he started to record his music with called the "Sobeit Union". This is when the name Lenin became a part of the stage name when it was presented by a childhood friend 

In 2009, Leakz Released two mix-tapes on Dat Piff and other mix-tape forums while working musically with his brother in law under Skylark Entertainment group titled "Declaration & Declaration 2" consisting of freestyles on old school and recent day industry instrumentals while working on his Ep  Honor B4 Destiny which was scheduled to release in the summer of 2010 but due to separation was never completed. 

2011- early 2015

Leakz continued to make music independently with longtime partner Ray Wunda and released a video titled "Chain-Smokers" in 2012. In 2014 the two decided to musically split ways while working on a collaboration group project along with 4 other artist

In late 2015 while working on a solo mix-tape titled "Sims City", He re-linked  with producer and long time friend Engyma The Renegade and the two began to work on a EP titled "A Different Creed". Both projects due to release by Summer 2016

Firebeatz, the dynamic Dutch duo of Tim Smulders and Jurre van Doeselaar, have become a true international sensation. Playing mostly self-produced records, the duo has delivered countless mainstage anthems, including hit tracks like 'Dear New York', Guitar Track' (with Sander van Doorn), 'Helicopter' (with Martin Garrix), 'I Can't Understand' (with Chocolate Puma) and 'Go'.
