On Consonne Froide, these staples of the French underbelly unite to transmit choppy glimpses of a thousand dance modes a second, skidding, snapping and popping indelibly into your nervous system.

Jazzoux is the meeting between Terrine (Claire Gapenne from the industrial rock band Headwar) and Somaticae (author of many techno-noise records). In their quest for a personal sound color, they seek to distord the established genres and practices of conventional electronic music in order to reveal its flaws.
Claire and Amédée are adepts of a free and unprejudiced music, and search to  obtain an aesthetic never acquired, both self-taught and open.  Rather than having a collection of synthesizers to make Jean-Michel Jarre swoon with the sole purpose of producing a smooth and tasteless techno, they preferred to master a single synthesizer of their choice. These two complex machines, often used in a classical way, are here pushed to their limits, even in their sonic boundaries.
Jazzoux, could be a futuristic jazz of hacked machines pushed towards madness, with a touch of self-mockery.
