Jazz House

German-born, Amsterdam-based artist Retromigration has been carving out a distinct path for himself over the last year with his tantalizing, raw house sound. Combining elements of classic production techniques to sculpt his warm, authentic sound.

His Nigerian and Ghanaian roots shine through with distinct musicality and a blissfully laid-back approach to his grooves, his records have been previously snapped up by established imprints including Rhythm Section International, Wolf Music, and Handy Records to name just a few. His fusion of hip-hop and house stems from an upbringing of studying jazz bass and is evident throughout this stunning release. A gentle touch of sampling and expertly played basslines glue these fantastic tracks together to form the joyous 'Kush Calls' EP.

Jazz is amazing live music. The best compositions are created according to the mood of the author in tandem  a musical instruments: saxophone, drums, double bass and piano. While listening to jazz, the human body produces the hormone dopamine, which is responsible for feelings of pleasure, euphoria and love, protecting a person from depression and mental disorders. The main advantage of jazz over other genres is that it is able to influence productivity and improve a person’s mental abilities 🧠, namely reaction speed, logical thinking and learning ability. This is probably why Jazz music was able at one time to reconcile people of different races and skin colors, uniting them in a single creative impulse and eliminating moral shortcomings. ❤️‍🩹💗✌🏽🙏🏽
