Brazilian producer Niev debuts on Mexican imprint Duro Label with a three-track EP exploring the depths of acid house.

Duro Label proudly announces the release of "Mariokarlos EP," the latest production from Brazilian artist Niev, an emerging force in the electronic scene from Ribeirão Preto who has been making waves in experimental music since 2020.

The EP, consisting of three original tracks, represents a deep dive into acid house territory while maintaining Niev's characteristic essence of blending electronic elements with Brazilian influences. The EP includes the title track "Mariokarlos," followed by "Ciao (Stripped Mix)" and "Wannabe," each exploring different nuances within the genre.

Niev, known for his work with Radio Vitrine and The Last Baba Disco Studios, brings to this release his distinctive musical perspective, shaped between 80's nostalgia and contemporary influences from Russian and Middle Eastern music. His ability to weave traditional and cutting-edge elements is reflected in each of the EP's cuts.

"Mariokarlos EP" marks Niev's debut on Duro Label, solidifying the Mexican imprint's presence in the international house music scene and reinforcing its commitment to innovative sounds and bold proposals.

The EP will be available across all digital platforms from March 7th, 2025.

Following the hypnotic pulse of his acclaimed album El Hijo del Maiz, released through Lumière Noire Records, which introduced the original version of "Bo Ni Ke," Mexican DJ/producer Iñigo Vontier returns with Bo Ni Ke Remixes, an EP that reimagines one of his most captivating tracks. Released through the boundary-pushing Mexican imprint Duro Label, this collection breathes new life into "Bo Ni Ke" with four dynamic reinterpretations from Musumeci, Moisees and two new version from Vontier.  

Leading the charge is a mesmerizing remix by Italian Musumeci, who infuse the track with their signature blend of deep, cosmic grooves and ethereal textures, taking "Bo Ni Ke" on an acid journey. Moisees, co-founder of Duro Label, delivers a remix that amplifies the track's hypnotic essence, layering infectious rhythms with a raw, underground energy that resonates on dancefloors. Rounding out the EP, Iñigo Vontier himself presents his "Unwanted" Remix, showcasing his evolving sound with a darker, more psychedelic twist that delves deeper into his experimental roots. 

Closing the EP is the Ketamine Version, a stripped-down, hallucinatory rendition that deconstructs the original into its most primal sonic elements. This version explores the track's core rhythmic structure, distorting and reshaping it into a swirling, immersive soundscape, designed for late-night introspection and altered states of consciousness. 

Bo Ni Ke Remixes stands as a testament to Iñigo Vontier's fearless approach to electronic music, blending cultural influences with forward-thinking production. Each remix offers a unique perspective while honoring the original's mystique, solidifying "Bo Ni Ke" as a track that transcends boundaries and continues to evolve. Rafael and Mishell unite for the first time on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’—a three-track package dropping on 25th April, featuring collaborations with British-Persian DJ/producer Nariman and vocalist Eliza Legzdina. 

Hotly tipped DJ/producer Rafael has been making his mark on labels like DFTD, Realm, and Maccabi House, including his recent team-up with Sapian for his Collecting Dots debut, ‘What What’. Now, linking up with fellow countryman Mishell, fresh from ‘Cantina’ on Get Physical Music, and ‘Lightweight’ on Diynamic, whose psychedelic take on House and Indie Dance continues to fuel both his productions and his event brand, Mess. Together, they make their label debut on Jones’ Hot Creations with ‘Naughty’, bringing a fresh burst of House energy as they blend their distinctive styles. 

“We came into the studio with no plans, no references—just good energy and a jam session that turned into something we’re really proud of. The idea was to blend tech-house grooves with big room vibes and a subtle ravey touch, and somehow… it just clicked. This EP marks a meaningful moment for us, not only because it’s our first time producing together, but also because throughout this process, we became really close friends. Rafael and Mishell open ‘Naughty’ with ‘Naaa’, where a punchy kick drum leads the way, building the groove with sharp stabs and twisting percussion. After lighting up Hot Creations earlier this year with ‘Move Your Feet’, Papa Marlin makes a swift return to the label, this time joined by Ibiza-based Alev Tav, who makes her debut on Jamie Jones’ imprint, with ‘Funk Like Dis ’- a three-track EP steeped in Garage textures and built for summer floors, arriving 20th June.
