ColtCuts is man on a mission, the Canadian 140 production supremo is ready to make his Resurgence and DDD is honoured to be putting out this absolutely fire EP to mark it.

Spearheaded by the dubstep anthem ‘We Are DDD’ with lyrical badman and UK don Killa P, this one is set to be the sound of the fall - where bass weight and pounding percussion meets savage flows and 2025’s biggest dubstep hook.

This sets the tone for an EP of intensity, passion and technical prowess - with beats raining down on you like a monsoon of menace - with title track Resurgence a defiant system banger, Head Get Dizzy a glitchy masterpiece and final track War Mode collaborating with Canadian dubstep legend Metafloor and UK grime MC Grim Sickers, a dark sinister brooder ready to inflict damage in the dance. 

The four tracks showcase Colton’s production pedigree and his rightful place as a serious player in the 140 scene - as proven at DDD’s showcase at the Mission Ballroom.

N-Type & Syxx have been friends now for a long time now. They first met through DJ Walsh (R.I.P) at N-Type’s event RUDE in Brixton in 2012 where Syxx first heard his tracks live in a dance. Then later Walsh signed Syxx to Biscuit Factory Records in 2014 where he released most of his early catalogue. N-Type & Syxx were meaning to get in the studio for years before but on the collation of the “Typography” Album, N-Type reached out to Syxx to get on a track. They started off by making five ideas and after a short pizza break and random conversation on who smashed it at Band Aid live 1986?? They both agreed they were blown over Queens performance and how Freddie Mercury smashed the crowd, they then jumped back in the studio and “Mercury” was born.

N-Type & Syxx – Mercury is set for release 7th November 2025, available on Digital and in a strictly limited Lathe Cut edition.

LA-based bass alchemist @woventhorns returns, this time on her own @ruins_corp imprint (co-founded with @mesck), with an EP that drips atmosphere and crushes subs in equal measure.

It’s the very first time since we spotlighted RUINS here; The ‘Devour EP’ reminds us why the label is essential listening for boundary-pushing dubstep. Daring to be different.

‘Stillness Between Breaths’ (S2) is a haunting, slow-bloom descent into low-end gravity, knife-edge basslines, bleeding melodies, and a tension that lingers long after the last hit. Equal parts aching nostalgia and dread; pure Woven Thorns.

Thanks for reading this and visiting my page.I have a pretty wide selection of styles and genres that I work in, so if you don't like the first track or 2 you hear, give a few more a try and I imagine you'll find something of value in the pile.I always appreciate your thoughts on my music, so please feel free to leave comments. I also accept any kinds of feedback/critique, my art grows better and stronger from it.If you ask me to comment on your track (that is unreleased), be ready for the possibility of 'feedback' - not ego-stroking.I'm not attacking you or trying to embarrass you.I'm seriously trying to help your mix/song reach another level, so if you have thin skin about your art/track/music, you may not want to directly ask me to listen/comment. That said, keep in mind it's based entirely on my opinion/experience only, and that's really not worth that much, but I thought it was fair to say this as a few people have gotten offended when I didn't just put "great track" in their timed comments. Honestly, most of the time I only mention what I really like or make mix suggestions, I can see the beauty in everyone's self expression.

Btw, the term "WIP" means it is a work in progress.  These are the developing tracks that I can use feedback on the most.  
p.s. If you should want a a mp3 of anything, just ask. Don't rip a lousy copy when you can easily get a hi-res version.
