Scott Robins recorded these songs LIVE and online in Second Life. The audio was then engineered with care by Michaela Belbin. The album artwork, created by Janis K.Beauchamp, memorializes the bluesy living experiences of Aldon Fairfield's Montreal life on Waverly Street. The pulsing heart of this city continues to drive Aldon's songwriting today and tomorrow.The songwriter would rather tell you about the songs themselves. Aldon relates, "The work is important...the Self is not...says my BigBlue Book". So here goes...These twelve blues-based tunes came about in a most unusual way for me. I listened to the blues influences in the many classic Rock 'n" Roll titles of Chuck Berry, Little Richard and the rest - the early Beatles Hamburg set lists. I became aware that these rock and rolled 12-bar blues progressions inspired me creatively, provided me with whole new alternate lyrics coming to mind - as I listened. Fourteen sets of lyrics were scribbled down - pretty rough but purely inspired . I sang those new lyrics over the recordings and they seemed to work well. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the experience. And now some notes regarding the tunes...
TRUTH FROM THE LIES... narrates the story about a vacationing family inadvertently arrested and grilled by officers of Area 51 security. "Any family man can see this aint no Hollywood..."
ARRIVED EARLY, STAYED LATE ...a song written to be sung by Dr. John, the Night Tripper. New Orleans meets a backyard party gone terribly wrong.
Saturday Night In London...a touring musician meets a married lady after the show. Hmmm..Is it London,Ontario he's referring  to? Or is it London,England UK.? "Only in Canada", you say?" Pity...
HOW CAN YOU SAY IT'S OVER?... take me down to the Delta for this one. Do you like the resonator guitar? Wish I'd played that.
