Sometimes the dream of perception stretches thin. A dream, they say. It’s like a beautiful dream. A beautiful dream where sometimes you get bacne and some rude man on the train coughs like a face, coughs like an imbecile all up in your face, all up in your face coughing like some kind of dumb animal imbecile. This dream kitty has dream claws. What will it take to wake us from this somnambulistic dream stroll? Something higher, perhaps, a taste of the divine. Perhaps it’s liking Multiple People’s ‘On the Hours’, from the album ‘Music for Multiple People’, premiered by Madjestic Kasual. i made myself bigger ears from clay to hear the ghosts that roam the island. they certainly had something to say about loss. isosaari is heavy with its military history—bunkers and installations, a torpedo. several empty and haunted buildings, tombstone, the stone base of russian barracks, german casemates and a mass grave of the reds from the civil war.

in the forest, shadows lingered in tangled roots and loss was woven into the fabric of ground. this island is a strange testament to what remains.

’a soft plea, we seek freedom. we all navigate grief’s landscape. but for liberation for the living, you need to hear those who are alive’, the ghosts said.

This compilation was made by beautiful humans from all around the world. It is a collection of 11 varied tracks. It is noisy, experimental, sometimes brutal, with choir, different languages, vocals, piano and drums... While the tracks are all different, they are united by the fight against domestic violence.

As you may know, this pandemic is a nightmare for women facing domestic and sexual abuse. In many situations they have been forced into lockdown with their abuser.

The money raised on Bandcamp will go to La Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes, a French charity helping women in distress. Please consider buying this release if you appreciate it and spread the word about the current situation.

If you or someone you know is facing violence, despite how hard and impossible it might feel, help is out there and it is possible to escape the situation you're in.
