After the EP “Cloud's Song” of 2021 and the song "Rendering" of last February, Matt Sawyer returns with a new release for Villahangar: “Momento”, a melodic, energetic and engaging song. A simple but pressingmelody, fun, enveloping, inserted in a mood able to create, precisely, a "moment". A track developed over time, the result of entire piano sessions, synths and melodies, then recovered and inserted to complete or give a different thickness: elements to be set aside and rediscovered with another point of view. An accurate work in placing the percussion and the bass turn,for the drafting and input of the piano, avoiding a too forced drop, to which to arrive with the rhythm and background melodies. And inserting as many real instruments as possible into the composition, exploring different cultures and uses of the same instrument: guitar, piano, synthesizer or vocals. A new step in the path of musical maturation of the artist, who maintaining his taste for the use of drum machines or percussion, reaches a new level of awareness and personal taste

HIGHLIGHTS: 
The cover of the EP, entitled "Dissonanze Visive" is created by the artist Francesco Maccapani Missoni, heir to one of the most important and beloved families of Italian prêt-à-porter.

Launched in 2020 as the releases series to extend the reach of the finest works we're getting through, Axioma compilations always greatly span the vision we're eager to share through music. The fifth edition of Axioma releases showcases the finest works we've met recently on our way. The energetic and 'locomotive' track 'Impact' from the Brazilian duo OBSESH opens up the release with its' big sound and expressive sound design. Again Brazilian talent Lökust makes a unique approach to the sound, adhering to a minimalistic and refined way in his 'Toxic Breath'.Australian duo Amity kicks different in 'Why You Up'. The track melancholically captivates the attention through the length, suggesting and spiralling into the hypnotic journey of alarming and extraordinary sounds. We're happy to revisit our Italian friends Earthlife with 'Never Be Like You', where they demonstrate the best they can do with the melodic sound, making it emotional, but powerful at the same time. Greek duo of Ziger & Mind Conspiracy completes the release with their 'THC', which we loved for the blend of progressive elements with the syncopated melodic massiveness. We hope you'll find works to play for your sets from these, while we're on the way to present more. Without boundaries, as a motto.
