Jack Borrill is a Glasgow-based alternative folk artist from Milton of Campsie. Previously known for his work with bands such as Quiche and The Joy Hotel, he has developed a songwriting style rooted in confessional lyricism and rich instrumentation. His songs explore themes of nostalgia, belonging, and personal transformation, layered upon a canvas of textured sound that balances intimacy and depth.

I'm a lyricist, songwriter and vocalist.

 My influencer genres are mainly 70s and 80s Punk, Folk, and 90s Alternative rock. Thom Yorke, PJ Harvey,Nina Gordon, Voltaire and Kat Bjelland i have huge respect for and admire greatly. Any covers I do rarely, are under done ''Fair Use''- I make no money or profit from the covers, I only upload for the purposes of creativity, constructive critisizm, feedback, love and great respect for the original artists who inspired me when i was growing up, I always credit the original artist/band/ or writers.
