A second attempt at The Clash song "Guns of Brixton". I played electric guitar and sang with a drummer and then overdubbed bass. This cool song has a hypnotic groove.

My second attempt at the song "Naked Eye" by Luscious Jackson, and my first attempt with a drummer. This song has an infectious groove on the chorus. The all-female band Luscious Jackson were ahead of their time.

A cover of the Rollings Stones song "Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)" from 1973. Hard to do justice to the original song (with its cool Billy Preston clavinet), but it is fun to play.

Tried an original song about longing for home. WT on drums and Chris on keys. Fun to dig into the roster of recent songs to try out a deep cut.

Transcontinental cover of Bob Dylan song "One More Cup of Coffee". This was a complex collaboration with MK providing guitar and vocals from Warsaw; Lauren in Texas with killer vocals; Avi providing multiple electric guitars and keys; WT on drums and JB on production in NYC. Fun project.

An acoustic version of an original song on waltz time. I have added more specific lyrics rather than a mumble track. Now I need my nephew to come back and overdub a saxophone line! Fun to do two versions of this song today with pro drummer WT. We did an electric and acoustic version. This is the acoustic version. I overdubbed upright bass.

A cover of a cover of a cover. George Gershwin wrote the original song in the 1930s; A bunch of artists covered it (I love the Doc Watson version that was also covered by Billy Strings and Marcus King); and Lana Del Rey did a killer remix of the Sublime variant on the song.

Revisiting a song from last year. I'm on Telecaster and vocals; WT on drums. Overdubbed bass. Trying to incorporate what I learned last week at Acousticamp: leave room. Do not make it muddy with too much sound in the mid range.
