Downplay is proud to present the debut EP from Guildford producer Kobe JT.

‘Free’ is full of ﬂavour - with a spicy 2-step groove underpinning jazzy keys and a soulful diva vocal. Chopped instrumentation and a bubbling bassline add the essential seasoning for a properly tasty UKG bubbler.

‘Ninety Five’ takes it’s title seriously, with a studious throwback to the golden age of emerging US & UK Garage. Rolling 4x4 provides the framework for descending chords and sparkling horns, stretched across a bumpy 2-step rhythm.

Finally label mate Limita steps up to twist the lead track into a high-tempo bassline assault with just the right amount of funk to ﬁll any discerning danceﬂoor.
