Still, it matters.
Not because time is real, but because what we do with it is.
In the end, time is a mirror. It reflects what we choose to fill it with.

But time also decays.
It wears away at the body, at memory, at meaning.
It rots, it rusts, it erodes.
Nothing escapes its touch... not love, not greatness, not even light.

So if we must be obsessed,
let it be not with the ticking,
but with the living.
