The experience took place virtually on August 20th ~ 23rd 2021 worldwide from the radio platform 9128.live.

Inhmost (Huinali Recordings, re:st / Torbay, UK)
Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres, deep space atmospheres and otherworldly soundscapes are the order of the day.
Situated in the South West of England the local area provides the backdrop for inspiration with the coast and countryside allowing an escape into the wild for moments of reflection.

This August, it has been two years since launching the first iteration of the 9128.live 24/7 streaming site + app. 

We didn’t know back then, that the additional live weekend takeovers would be such an escape for us all during the lockdowns and a way to connect, keep a small community together and discover even more new music. But they ended up becoming some of our fondest memories over the past two years. So we’ll be celebrating this milestone with another marathon takeover on August 20th. 

Stay locked in on web, or app, and load up on sleep; the weekend lineup will take us back-to-back over 70hrs, with ambient, experimental, synth and deep techno, DJ, Live and Hybrid sets, curated by good friends and label partners of 9128.live, who have been with us since the beginning.

"This mix is basically a collection of nostalgia influenced pieces, weightless productions and scores that have stuck with me. I've always thought a lot of the music used in games is very underrated in terms of their depth and ideas and doing this mix gave me the opportunity to include some of my favourites. One in particular is a game called "Tyrian" - a space-shooter filled with mad colours and beams and has this weird tragic storyline. I based the premise of the mix behind this - its about being lost in space but still feeling content and somewhat close to home. Hope you enjoy it." Dark0

Eric Cloutier - Mysteries of the Deep 9128 Takeover

We have designed this track as an ambient sound-scaping to create a setting of an underwater sanctuary as well as a feeling of being able to breath underwater; interwining the perceived reality with an indefinite number of possible realities. For meditation purposes, Sunken is specifically focused on the Sacred Chakra. The structuring and coordination of the sounds within aim to enable smooth transitions between the levels of consciousness, thus enhance and catalyze the meditation experience.

This is a piece of music that uses bilateral stimulation to help with EMDR grounding meditations. I also hope it's just nice to chill out to and uplift! Best listened to through headphones or stereo speakers. Enjoy! All rights reserved.

LYRIDS SHOWER

As the title suggests, this mix was recorded for the Mysteries Of The Deep takeover of 9128.live during the weekend of April 17-19.  MOTD is one of my favorite musical entities operating right now - so it was, of course, an honor to participate.  In true Mysteries fashion, the music presented here is on the ambient / experimental / weirdo tip.  Being recorded early in the isolation phase of the current COVID 19 Pandemic, the original concept was to emulate the stillness and quietude of isolation.  As I gathered songs for the mix, however, I could not help myself from grabbing songs that I thought also represented the creeping dread that permeates this time.  So here you have it, a mix of meditative music with some creep around the edges.  I hope I struck a balance of sorts and succeeded in creating an identifiable arc or narrative that you can enjoy. Transmute aims to create attention by focusing the power of the conscious mind below to the surface of one’s Being. The track encourages a journey to the inner thoughts -often hidden or overlooked- in order to get a view of the emotions sprouting therefrom. Transmute uses the frequency of the Root Chakra for an unbiased point of origin, while the Tibetian bells interlaced with the sounds help promote the grounded awakeness. Meanwhile, the embedded tones pave a path to deeper levels of the Being.
