'23 FnF Fall Classic Submission Main

Due to certain events beyond our control we had a late departure for Spinning Wheel this year. I was scheduled to play the opening slot on Friday but we weren't able to make it in time. Playing music & making people dance is very cathartic for me. With my work being as exceptionally difficult as it has been this year I was really looking forward to sharing my music with everyone. Missing this much needed time behind the decks was a heavy weight on me & I allowed it to stay there for the rest of the weekend. 

In an attempt to shake the bad energy that I (and my life) created for myself I made this. I'd like to think that it went down like this somewhere on the sacred timeline.

This is what I had planned on sharing with everyone for the opening set of the 2023 Fall Classic at Spinning Wheel. I hope you like it.

You know me, doing my best to use my voice and fight fascism every Monday, and try to not get kicked off public radio in the midst of tyranny. I went out dancing Sunday (Larry Heard! so fun!) so I had no idea what was gonna happen here but I'm digging it. Certainly is fun to play!

And dancing in the streets is just one of the multitude of ways we can fight fascism every day. Whose streets?! OUR STREETS! 

Anyway, yeah. Things are not ok here, or much of anywhere. But that doesn't mean things have to stay that way.
