In the song called “In Deep Cover for Love” artist J.Nabil reflects on his life course up till this point. Soberingly looking back at the choices he’s made to indulge in Alcohol consumption, and Marijuana to numb the emotional pain of feeling lonely and isolated. At the end it of it all He has no one but himself to blame, and only he can stop making the choices that he makes.￼ Producer Jashcanyouchill (aka J.Nabil) flips Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do For Love” which serves as the emotional background of the song. The intro of the song where the track get part of its name is from the movie “Deep Cover” where after Laurence Fishburne’s character Kills a man, he laments how even through he killed a man, no one cared, and he could do it again. J.Nabil uses this clip to explain how he’s killed the old version of himself, and if he needs to he’ll keep doing it.
