As a crucial figure in the history of the thriving Irish dance scene, and a favorite of the When We Dip team since their early formation in Dublin, Ian O’Donovan is an artist innately connected to the XYZ label. Through an illustrious career, he’s presented his unique blend of uplifting productions on behemoths such as Bedrock and Suara. After his smashing remix of Budakid’s Anesthesia, we’re ecstatic to have the Irishman back on the label in full with the Mistral EP.

Mistral treats us to a simmering groover, one meant for the more pensive moments. Electro influences come into play, with a pristine acid-laden melody floating the track along. It’s a gorgeous arrangement, and a perfect accompaniment to the more energetic productions that lead the release.

Radikon proudly welcomes percussive mastermind Krink to the label for catalogue number 010. Featuring three originals and a collaborative remix by Yuven and Dahu, 'Arc' is a supreme journey through Krink's eclectic cosmos of otherworldly melodies, riveting sound design and relentlessly evolving percussion. 

The title track ,Arc' aplies bridges the gap between two worlds of sound. Sizzling with analog electricity and oozing organic warmth, the track's staccato groove seems to burst with pent up energy, while beautifully engineered stabs and sweeps will leave even the most seasoned synth aficionados in awe of the creative process behind them. 

'Alive' is an exercise in all things that make Krink a stand-out producer. Pitching sweeps and a plucky, resonant lead synth create a stunning balance between organic and electric, while a warm and soothing pad drives the track home. With a beautifully subtle kick and incredibly effective drum arrangement, 'Alive' is the perfect showcase for an uncompromising artist dedicated to his vision. 

'Strangers' is a frenzy of hi-hats, white noise and frantic stabs with a perfectly controlled pinch of uneasiness that adds to the pure, raw energy of the track. Once again showcasing Krink's unending prowess in sound design and groove structure, 'Strangers' is a bold, energetic statement straight from the secret weapons category. 

Radikon mainstay artists Dahu and Yuven lend their touch to 'Alive' in a powerful reimagination. Building on the artful subtleties of the original, the remix gradually descends into madness with a cascading wall of synths, atmosphere and an earth-shaking sub-structure. 

For years, Krink has been the quintessential artist: Bold, uncompromising and utterly committed to his craft and vision. 'Arc' builds on his artistic legacy with mesmerizing sound design and brutally efficient percussion and is a true testament to the raw skill of a fascinating artist.
